21 September 2005. Kranj. Twenty-nine (29) sport centers, public institutions and agencies, established Standing committee of Sport Centers in Slovenia.

11 May 2007. Portorož. Forty-two (42) sport centers, public institutions and agencies, established Sport Center Association of Slovenia.

Today our association encompasses 51 members, which manage over 850 sport facilities and areas with 3. millions square meters. Each year over 11. millions users and visitors visit our facilities.

Children, youngsters, students, recreational sportsmen and women, athletes, seniors, tourists and other users, have excellent services and customer oriented programs in our facilities and recreational areas.

Sport centers provide economical and efficient management and maintenance of sport facilities, which are owned by local communities and sport associations, who are the founders of sport centers.

Our Association cooperates with the Ministry for education and sport, Olympic committee of Slovenia, Sport Board of the republic of Slovenia, Association of local communities, Association Ropeways of Slovenia, Slovenian Green keepers Association and international associations of sport infrastructure managers.
